Emile Schachter is a Managing Principal with extensive experience in real estate investment banking, structured finance, and advisory services for institutional and private real estate sponsors. His focus includes underwriting co-investments, capital formation, and raising debt and equity across national and international markets. Emile previously held roles at Rialto Capital and Bridge Investment Group, two vertically integrated real estate investment managers with more than $10 billion in assets under management. His experience at these firms spans acquisitions, asset management, CMBS, and B-piece underwriting, giving him a sophisticated understanding of credit, risk, and valuation across multiple asset classes.
Emile’s expertise includes construction and bridge financing, preferred equity and mezzanine structures, recapitalizations, development underwriting, and complex multi-lender capital stacks. His technical grounding in civil engineering—enhanced by a Fulbright scholarship and a bachelor’s degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology—underpins his analytical rigor and ability to navigate sophisticated development and financing scenarios.
He holds a two-year Master’s in Finance and Real Estate from Cornell University, Johnson Business School, with a concentration in Investments, and maintains a broad international network of developers, private investors, lenders, and institutional partners. Emile is recognized for his disciplined execution, quantitative precision, and his ability to translate complex project profiles into institutional-grade credit narratives.
